The city of Cordoba, lying on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, was the capital of the Betica province during the Roman Empire and the Caliphate of Cordoba.

The history of Córdoba has left us architectural wonders including the Mosque-Cathedral, the Roman bridge and the old Jewish Quarter. Starting from Seville Naturanda's guide will pick you up at one of the meeting points before heading towards Carmona, a white village located just half an hour from the city and that deserves a short stop so you can admire its beauty. After a short guided walk you continue on to Cordoba, where you will arrive after approximately one hour.

When you arrive at the main destination, you will be taken on a guided walking tour through the historical town centre, visiting the most important attractions. You will stroll along the city's most iconic streets: cross the Roman Bridge to the old Jewish Quarter, the Royal Stables and the Synagogue of Cordoba (closed on Mondays). You will also take a short stroll through Córdoba's famous colourful patios where you will have the chance to take some wonderful photos that will always remind you of this beautiful excursion to Córdoba.

After visiting the historical town centre of Córdoba you will take a short rest to enjoy the gastronomy of Córdoba following the recommendations of the guide or you are free to arrange your own lunch or eat a picnic if you prefer. You will also have time to do a little shopping.

Afterlunch, and to round off our day, you will visit the beautiful Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1984. There you will have enough time to explore this wonderful architectural monument, which was originally built for Muslim worship and is one of the most important jewels of Andalusia's historical and architectural heritage.

After the visit to the Mosque of Córdoba, you will return to the meeting point and travel back to Seville, after a magnificent excursion visiting places of extraordinary beauty.
