El Talenque

El Talenque is situated in the Galaroza area, in the vicinity of Navahermosa, by the road heading to Valdelarco. The land where it is located forms a part of the largest estate owned by the municipality. Therefore, this is a space that is easily accessible and that has large car parks and toilets.

From an environmental viewpoint, the recreational area has the added attraction of the presence of a small wood of native oak trees that are scarcely represented in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia and which has here one of its best preserved formations. In addition, there is protected flora in the area, including some species of orchid or small groups of peonies.

Regarding the fauna that inhabits this area, you can see small birds such as the Eurasian blue tit, European crested tit, common blackbird, Eurasian jay, European robin and common nightingale, among others. Furthermore, you can easily observe other species like deer and wild boar.
