Monument to Curro Romero

The monument to Curro Romero is located next to the Real Maestranza bullring, in a little square that bears his name.

This bronze statue was made by Sebastian Santos Calero in 2001. It depicts bullfighter Curro Romero (Camas, Seville, 1933) in his costume, as he took on "Flautino", a bull from the Gabriel de Rojas ranch, at the April Fair in 1984.
