Cordoba was the capital of the Caliphate of Cordoba during the Moorish period, and one of the most important cities of the Betica province during the Roman Empire, hence its great historical and cultural legacy that is worth discovering.

Many architectural wonders have been left in the city of Cordoba over the centuries, such as the Alcázar Palace of the Christian Monarchs, the Roman bridge and the Jewish quarter, but the crown jewel is undoubtedly the great Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba.

Our Naturanda guide will pick you up in Seville and we will travel to Cordoba. The journey takes just over an hour and a half and it will be the beginning of a trip you will never forget. We will walk through one of the most beautiful environments in the world, through its most iconic streets, past the most important monuments, learning about the history and cultural aspects of the city. In the narrow streets of the Jewish quarter we will visit the most beautiful patios. These patios are full of details, colourful flowers and have a unique scent. They will also give us the chance to take wonderful photos as a memento of our memorable trip.

We will have time to enjoy the famous Cordoba gastronomy where good local wine and world-famous Andalusian dishes such as salmorejo and bull's tail stand out. After a well-deserved lunch break and a bit of shopping, we will visit the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba, this tour's main attraction. This impressive monument became the second most important mosque in the Muslim world after Mecca itself. Its naves, doors, ornamental details and endless rows of arches astound visitors young and old. It is a journey back in time that you have to appreciate and take in properly, through the five senses. We will have plenty of time to calmly visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most visited monuments in Spain.

After a long day you can rest at your hotel and regain your strength for the next day, which will be equally exciting.

On the second day, you will have free time to discover other parts of the city of Cordoba at your leisure, to go shopping or simply enjoy walking around the streets. After enjoying a wonderful trip, at around 5pm we will head back to Seville and arrive at approximately 7pm.

If you do not have enough time to stay in Cordoba overnight because you want to visit other cities, our day trip is also available.
