Everything you should know if you visit Seville with your pet

The old Hispalis has a large number of dog parks. But a visit to Seville with your dog is a lot more: you should know the accommodations and pet-friendly leisure establishments to plan your getaway and know what you're getting into. Nothing must be missing from our experience of travelling with our pet, and in this sense, the Andalusian capital is making great efforts to outdo itself. There are event art galleries which allow our friends to come inside!
Pet-friendly hotels
One of the hotels in the city of Seville that allows dogs is Hotel Petit Palace Canalejas, the proximity of which to Plaza de España puts it in an excellent position. It is a very generous hotel when it comes to accommodating travellers with pets, not in vain does it admit up to two per room. The requirement? That they behave. Though at this point we need not insist in that staying in Seville with a dog - or anywhere we must add- means being ready for a pleasant coexistence between pets and people.
Night in the Jewish quarter
Another charming hotel where you can stay at night and leave your hairy companion in good hands is Rey Moro, in the cobbled-street setting of the Santa Cruz neighbourhood. An old, beautiful palace-house for enjoying the nightlife in Seville conveniently, for being so central. For example, dropping in at La Carbonería, where you can have a few wines with your pet; or some tapas and half portions while enjoying a flamenco show. This former home of Samuel Leví offers a lot, it's a must of the local nightlife!
Stop at Heliópolis, the garden city
The Holos boutique hotel is another magnificent choice for those looking for accommodation with a dog in Seville, although it is somewhat further from the centre, in the residential district of Heliópolis (the city garden built for the Expo of 1929). Though, speaking of gardens, in this city there are very beautiful ones to visit and enjoy: from the Murillo Gardens to those of La Buhaira, including those of Parliament and of Catalina de Ribera. Take your pet with you, dogs will also appreciate them!
We must not forget, however, about going shopping, especially if you come from outside Andalusia… so here comes into play Seville's shopping and pet-friendly shopping route that includes, as a must, gourmet shops like La Tragonería, or shops as unique as La Importadora, which combines fashion with artwork and interior design elements.
Apartment for three
Even better, to have the freedom to come and go as one pleases, you can rent an apartment. Among the apartments in Seville that allow pets are Almansa 11, with marvellous duplexes for relaxation from the bustle of the day, if you are travelling with your partner and your dog. Likewise, you can visit an exhibition at the Haurie art gallery, which is pet-friendly. Or take a very long walk accompanied by your friend to discover the city's authentic gems: from the Royal Palace and its gardens, to the Cathedral or The Giralda. How about that!
