In the town of Níjar, the Municipal Tourist Office shares its facilities with the Museo de la Memoria del Agua. It is the perfect place to discover a true paradise on Earth: 3,000 hours of sun a year, 63 km of coastline and an average annual temperature of 24ºC.
The Museo de la Memoria del Agua uses audiovisual and interactive media and panels to portray the importance of water and to ensure visitors understand the uniqueness of its management over time in an arid area like this, which is home to one of the most amazing natural geoparks, Cabo de Gata-Níjar.
Tuesday to Saturday, from 10 am to 2 pm and from 6 pm to 9.30 pm. Sunday, from 10 am to 2 pm. From October to Easter: Tuesday to Saturday, from 10 am to 2 pm.
