Nevadensis is an active tourism company created by a group of young people from the Alpujarra in 1990. After their initial training as Nature Guides and Environmental Educators, the partners in Nevadensis continued their training as Mountain Guides at the Official Spanish School of Mountaineering.

Nevadensis is currently located in the Barranco del Poqueira, in Pampaneira, in the heart of the Alpujarra and organises a wide range of activities: mountaineering excursions, climbing, 4x4 tours, horseback rides, canyoning, skiing, numerous courses and environmental activities. Nevadensis also manages the Sierra Nevada university refuge and the information point in the Sierra Nevada Nature Reserve in Pampaneira.

Routes are organised through the three white villages in the ravine: Pampaneira, Bubión and Capileira, as well as throughout the province of Granada, Andalusia and Spain.
