Located near the historic centre of the city, the Muscatel Museum in Chipiona takes the visitor on a journey through the history and culture of wine.

Comprising seven themed areas, visitors will find real and virtual scenarios where you can see and interact with lifestyles and artisan wine-production practices at different historical periods. You can also discover modern-day production techniques. The aim is to ensure that visitors can get a global image and understand the world of wine.

Bodega Romana y Alfarería. Caepia Roman market.
Renaissance. 15th century.
Modern times. 15th–17th century.
Contemporary wine trade. 18th–20th century.
Winery Corporate Museum.
Science of Wine Museum.
Wine-tourism tour of the winery.
Museum of the culture of muscatel.

1 June–30 September: 10.30 am to 2.30 pm and 7 pm to 10 pm. 1 October–31 May: 10.30 am to 2.30 pm and 6 pm to 9 pm (only Saturday and Sunday).

All tours are guided in English or Spanish. The last tour will take place 30 minutes before closing time. Tours in English are exclusively for groups, by prior appointment.

General admission: €4 (includes muscatel wine tasting). Over 65's: 3€. Children under 6 years: free. Tour and tasting with a variety of snacks: 10€. Catering service available at the winery (by arrangement). Tours in English and Spanish (for exclusive groups by prior appointment)
