Villanueva del Rosario - Sierra del Jobo

Villanueva del Rosario - Sierra del Jobo offers you a low, linear route that starts in the town of Villanueva del Rosario and passes by a series of points of interest and beauty: Loma del Nacimiento, Nuestra Señora del Rosario Shrine, along the path of Camino de Río Gordo to La Loma de Cazorla, reaching the Plain of Hondonero, Sierra de Camarolos and finally Sierra del Jobo.

All of these mountains, given their spectacular morphology, enjoy high ecological and natural value, and are included in the Network of Protected Areas in Andalusia.

The path coincides partly with a section of stage 11 of the GR-249 trail (Great Malaga Path).
