Parque Natural Cabo de Gata-Níjar

Andalusia is ideal for exploring by car, motorbike or camper van. From the moment you set off, you'll discover charming places and towns, world-famous cities, and two different seas to bathe in. Get that engine running!

Almería

Bathed by the Mediterranean, the city of Almería is the ideal starting point to explore the nearby places of interest. Your first stop should be Cabo de Gata Nature Reserve to take in the spectacular volcanic cliffs. To take a dip in the sea, you'll have to head to Las Negras or Playa de los Muertos

Granada

Granada isn't just the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada. On the Granada coast you can visit Motril, Almuñécar and picturesque Salobreña. When you reach Albuñol make a stop at El Ruso beach or Melicena

Málaga

The city where Picasso was born is a good place to start your adventure along the Málaga coast. Some must-visit places are the impressive Maro-Cerro Gordo cliffs and beach. Be sure to try the skewered fish known as 'espetos'. Two interesting towns to stop and stroll around are Estepona and Nerja.

Cádiz

Discover the white villages and the beaches bathed by the Atlantic. You can start at Conil de la Frontera and then continue with Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Why not try your hand at surfing at El Palmar?

Playa del Palmar

Huelva

Roll down the car window and feel the breeze on your face. Huelva is famous for kilometres and kilometres of beaches where you can take a long walk by the sea. The Punta Umbría beach and the El Parador are just two examples. If you want to take photos of stunning landscapes, head to the River Piedras marshes and the Flecha del Rompido inlet

Costa del Sol or Costa de la Luz or both at once. These recommended routes along the Andalusian coast offer the road trip you were looking for.
